Sarah Ann’s Foot Care teams up with PEDEd offering an advanced foot care course online!
Foot Care Course Collaboration!
During this past summer we had the opportunity to team up with PEDEd located in beautiful British Columbia to provide the on-line theory portion of our advanced diabetic nursing foot care course. Sarah Ann’s Foot Care Services will offer the face to face clinical practice here in Barrie allowing foot care nurses to practice their new skills on volunteers in our “state of the art” clinical setting.
Sandra and Tannis flew to Ottawa this summer to spend the day with us, where we hunkered down for some intense but fun team building, bonding and final details for our new collaborative launch!
The Online course registration will be offered once to twice a month with the clinical application following one to two weeks after the six week on-line course completion.
We are the only foot care program in southern Ontario that offers nurses 4 full days of hands on practical experience along with post course shadowing to help ensure nurses success.
We are so happy to be able to collaborate with these nurses and to be able to deliver a program like this to our peers as we have seen over the years nurses desiring further knowledge and skills. This course has been designed to help nurses achieve nursing foot care excellence.
