Kuru Shoes Review

Kuru Footwear, Kuru Shoes, Kuru Shoe Review, Footwear, Shoes for plantar fasciitis, Kuru womens shoes

If you are anything like me you are probably finding yourself spending a lot of time outdoors walking now that everything is closed. Nowadays walking has become my favorite pastime. Believe it or not, as much as I preach about wearing supportive shoes. I started walking in old non-supportive sports shoes and quickly realized I needed to find a shoe that would support my feet. Many of my patients were raving about the Kuru shoe and how it has helped them with either their heel pain or diabetic feet so I decided to check out the Kuru website to see what all the hype was about.

Kuru Shoes Comfort

Kuru shoes treat a wide variety of foot conditions as well as health issues and because I get back pain from standing or walking around while in my clinic or visiting patients in retirement homes, I decided to choose a shoe that catered to my specific needs. I liked the fact that their shoes have insoles that become molded by our body heat and creates a custom mold to cushion our heels. I knew I needed to buy a slip-on closed-toe shoe but I couldn’t resist and I bought two different pairs of their shoes to try.

Their shoe selection was pretty cute and I was in need of another ballerina flat to wear to work and to wear out this spring/summer if stores ever open up. So, I choose their grace slip-on because flats really look good with skinny jeans, leggings, shorts, skirts, and even cuffed bottom pants. Ballerina flats honestly look really well with just about anything so I knew I couldn’t go wrong by choosing these shoes.

The other shoe I choose was the
Kivi slip-on because of the wide toe box. I wanted a shoe that would not feel bulky with socks. Truthfully, I didn’t know what to expect with either of these shoes. I was just hoping they would fit because I have never ordered shoes online and I really didn’t want to return them. I ended up wearing the Kivi shoe out for many of my walks and this shoe was very comfortable. I don’t think this shoe is meant to be a walking shoe but it sure felt like one.

Kuru Kivi and Kuru Grace Video Shoe Review

I’ve made a quick video that goes into detail about my experience with these shoes and who could benefit from wearing them.

After writing this blog post and posting the video I realized that the Grace ballerina flat is on sale and certain shoe colours are running low. I guess it goes to show you how comfortable these shoes are.

If you are looking for a fashionable, comfortable supportive shoe brand that is not only sneakers, and helps the biomechanics and alignment of your feet while keeping your feet healthy you should check out Kuru footwear.
